Everest – Labrador Buddies


….Yesterday we stated goodbye to Everest (previously Lovebug, considered one of Lexi’s pups) who we adopted from Lab Buddies on September 27, 2016.  

 

In January, Everest was recognized with a malignant oral melanoma that was fast paced and had sadly unfold to her lymph nodes and lungs.  Because of the location of the tumor throughout the highest of her exhausting palate, surgical procedure was not an possibility.  We did take away her lymph node and tonsil, and she or he had Oncept immunotherapy, however sadly, the most cancers began to have an effect on her respiratory, consuming and sleeping. 

 

We made the exhausting choice to have her cross at dwelling, moderately than await an emergency state of affairs to come up.  We needed her comforted by us, and to not undergo.

 

She was the sweetest, finest woman and we liked her a lot, and can miss her daily.  It has been a tough 12 months shedding Marshall to outdated age / cognitive points in March, and now coping with the lack of Everest to most cancers.  For the primary time in 14 years, we wouldn’t have a Lab Pal at dwelling with us…
